It’s estimated that there are 14 million children that risk going hungry this year in our country. The crisis is evident in the drastic increase of children that rely on free and reduced cost meals in our schools. Many of these kids go hungry at night or even for an entire weekend. Childhood hunger causes devastating effects including stunted educational development. Now, with your help, we can give these families hope. Meal Packing Events

Meal packing events combine the good will of an organization, volunteer participation, and the focused efficiency of the Feeding Children Everywhere meal assembly system. They are practical, fun and most importantly, life-changing. Anyone can participate from business team executives to soccer teams and youth groups. Feeding Children Everywhere can mobilize a small group, or up to thousands of volunteers to make a difference. Watch our packing event video here.

Organizations: Corporations, community groups, and other organizations can join together for a packing event. It is a great way to help create awareness about global hunger, but also to engage your employees or community members.

Schools: Any school can make a difference. Public schools, private schools, universities, and homeschool groups can make a meaningful difference. If students understand they can make a difference for others in need, who knows what our future will hold.

Churches: Bring your congregation and community together for a packing event. Small churches to big churches, mission groups, youth groups, men’s groups or anyone involved with your church can make a difference in the world.


The Meal

The meal that we pack is simple, healthy and delicious.  The main components are rice, lentils, a blend of 6 dehydrated vegetables, and pink himalayan salt.  These ingredients were chosen because they represent an easily digestible source of protein, necessary carbohydrates, and vitamins such as Vitamin A, B6, C, D, E, Folic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc and over 84 trace minerals plus amino acids.  The meal is scientifically formulated to help combat the effects of hunger on the human body.  All that is necessary to cook the meal is adding boiling water.
